I am fostering a new dog, his name is Beau (petfinder link), and he is the best behaved foster dog I've had so far, he has yet to chew my belongings up or shit on my floor. He would be an AWESOME dog for one of my fine friends to get, he'll probably get adopted by someone really soon (the fluffy foster dog was adopted after less than 2 weeks), so get in touch with me or the humane society if you want to meet this sweet, bouncy little vicious killer.

more pics here, including bo eating my dog

ps look at this little otter guy! haha

Robb gets Ate by a dinosaur

So i was playing this fun little game caveman craig and one of my fellow cavemen was named Robb, and he just stands there while I get chewed up by a Tyranosaur or whatnot. While i fumble around the keys to take a screenshot, the dinosaur leaves me and goes over and disembowels poor Robb. Sorry Buddy.

my new favorite pastime is watching old ladies drive up to the construction on my street and becoming completely perplexed. in their defense it is pretty much a maze right now, and its changing every day. and the big block of cheese they helicoptered in is getting kindof nasty. then it takes em about 45 minutes to do a big ole turn, i'll count their turns like the deer hunters with their prized buck. 11 pointer came through here just a few minutes ago.

so a few weeks ago i took a break, a spring break! after doing a little phil going away thing went over to savannah. I had no idea, but they do this big mardi gras type thing for st pats day, were all the douchebags of the southeast all get together and get drunk for the weekend. the plans were sketchy to begin with, a friends friends friends friend had a place to stay. Not long after we get there, the situation gets even more sketchy because a fucking blackout hits knocking out the electron supply we depend on. anyway, the town was nice and the food was great. my favorite part was explaining to some yankees what rutabaga** was and convincing them to try pepper sauce*** on greens****.

* in their offense, there are huge detour signs everywhere, and the streets are layed out in a fairly predictable grid-like pattern

** shit on my balls i dont think i've ever typed that word

*** "you mean its not hot like holy habanero fire thats gonna burn through my intestines with the heat of 300 suns and shoot out of my colon, a geyser black death?" "naw, its just vinegar"

**** turnip greens, but they were convinced they were collard greens, i didnt spoil the fun, because collards are so... glamorous i guess

i had a friend going to new orleans this weekend, and i HAD to give a restaurant reccommendation, and the place was ridiculously easy to find on the web, even though i didn't remember the name, i just googled for "new orleans restaurant with truck out front" and it came right up:
Jacques-Imo's Cafe
